Counting down Scotland to six weeks now. Hope my photographs are anything close to this beautiful. Finally shipped my friend in Montana back her pro camera and after much deliberation over the Iceland outtakes, I have decided to jump into the deep end and buy my own pro pack for travel photography. Thinking a Mark III. I can’t just up and skip off to Scotland without one, now can I? No. The home in the first image is basically my dream home. I might not come back to the States. I might leave my life for that of a Scottish rancher instead.

Here are some Polaroids from our road trip down to Yosemite National Park and eastern California. In total; We drove 2,500 miles, hiked countless miles, swam in the clearest lakes, saw some of the brightest starlit nights, and had some of the best two weeks of our lives.

I had found this Polaroid camera in my grandfathers office awhile ago. Since his passing, the office space has barely been touched. I found it sitting on a high shelf collecting dust and decided to claim it and put it to use. It seems to be doing the trick quite well!

We’re excited to be back home in Portland Oregon but will be anticipating our return to this gorgeous place someday.
